The Southern Valley of Cusco is one of the favorite destinations. This tour will take you to know more about the history of the Incas and how they used this valley for their use.
This tour is ideal for lovers of Inca history. Together with our guide you will learn more about the archaeological sites of Tipon, Pikillacta and the charming town of Andahuaylillas.
It is a perfect combination of nature, culture and history in three different stages. The Pre-Inca, Inca and Colonial.
Located a few hours from Cusco, this site is made up of agricultural terraces, stone stairs and stone canals. This place shows more of the Inca technology, presents aqueduct systems used for irrigation of its platforms.
Built by the Wari culture, a culture prior to that of the Incas. It is considered one of the best preserved places. It has a ceremonial center, agricultural terraces and walls up to 7 meters high.
This beautiful village houses colonial mansions with well-preserved ancient styles. The Church of San Pedro stands out, known as “the Sistine Chapel of America”, since it has a baroque decoration full of paintings carved on its walls and ceiling in addition to statues.

We will pick you up from your hotel in the morning to transfer you in our private transport to the village of Tipon. This place is part of the Qapaq Ñan route, a network of Inca roads.
In Tipon you will be able to appreciate the royal enclosures such as the Intihuatana also known as the altar of the sun, the viewpoint or Cruzmoqo that is located in a strategic place from where you can appreciate or visualize the city of Cusco. It also houses enclosures and walls that were built to protect from the invasions of hostile peoples.
After visiting this archaeological site we will go to Pikillacta which is located a few kilometers from Tipon. Here we can appreciate stone walls of pre-Inca origin of the Wari culture.
Finally we will visit the beautiful town of Andahuaylillas, to visit the Sistine Chapel of America, beautiful for its carpentry, paintings and colonial decorations.
After visiting all these wonderful places we will return to Cusco.
