The Sacred Valley of the Incas is located 35 km from the city of Cusco. This place is an extensive valley accompanied and watered by the Urubamba River. Itinerary

Full DayPisac - Ollantaytambo - Maras - Moray - Chinchero

We will start the adventure with the pick-up of your arrival in Cusco at the indicated time. We will take you through the Sacred Valley for 45 minutes to our first stop Pisac. On the way we will stop at the Taray viewpoint so you can observe the impressive view of the sacred valley and the Urubamba River that irrigates it. all. this valley

Pisac

Pisac is famous for its astronomical observatory, this beautiful village has a traditional market, where you can see the different crafts of the locals and an archaeological zone.

Together with jesro guide you will tour the archaeological site. Then we will take you to the main square, where you can buy handicrafts in its cobbled streets.

After these Inca remains, we will take you to Urubamba so you can enjoy a delicious Peruvian buffet lunch.

Ollantaytambo

Continuing with our tour, we will transfer you to the town of Ollantaytambo. It has narrow cobbled streets almost intact since the Inca era. This town in the Inca era was the administrative capital of the Inca Empire.

Together with our guide you will visit the archaeological site of Ollantaytambo. Here you can appreciate more of the technology that the Incas used in its construction.

Moray

After visiting the archaeological site of Ollantaytambo we will head to Moray.

Moray is a construction of concentric circular stones that form a kind of rings that widen as they ascend, just like the temperature. This place was used by civilization as an agricultural research laboratory. Here the necessary conditions for the production of different products were experienced.

Maras

Continuing with the tour and after visiting the lands of Moray, we will go to the town of Maras, famous for its salt mines.

The Salt mines of Maras, were exploited since the Inca civilization, even today they still continue their extraction. It is located on the side of a hill, whose saline water spring nourishes the five thousand pools of approximately 5 square meters each.

Chinchero

Finally we will go to the town of Chinchero where we will visit its traditional market and its archaeological site. Then we will head back to the city of Cusco.

Chinchero is a beautiful town, here kas traditions and Inca culture still prevail and are passed from generation to generation. This town is known for its handmade crafts. In addition to owning Inca farmland. It also houses a colonial church, which in the time of the Inca Empire was a royal palace.
