The Sacred Valley of the Incas is located in the province of Urubamba, a few hours from Cusco. For two days you will fully enjoy the history and culture of the Inca Civilization. You will discover all the myths and legends that this valley keeps. As the name says, it was sacred to the Incas. They also made the most of the land for agricultural production, construction of fortresses and research center of optimal conditions for successful production.

This valley is famous and much preferred by tourists. It is one of the most important destinations in South America. The valley is home to traditional villages that preserve their culture and traditions even today.

The Inca civilization used this valley and took advantage of the resources it offered. They also built important buildings such as Pisac, Ollantaytambo and Chinchero.

You will also visit the world wonder, Peruvian pride, Machu Picchu. Located on the top of a mountain, in the heart of the Peruvian Andes. This imposing fortress was built by order of the Inca Pachacutec, who at that time was the highest authority of the Inca Empire. This fortress has 200 enclosures located along the top of this mountain.

Day 1Cusco - Pisac - Ollantaytambo - Aguas Calientes

We will start the adventure with the pick-up of your arrival in Cusco at the indicated time. We will take you through the Sacred Valley for 45 minutes to our first stop Pisac. On the way we will stop at the Taray viewpoint so you can observe the impressive view of the sacred valley and the Urubamba River that irrigates it. all. this valley

Pisac

Pisac is famous for its astronomical observatory, this beautiful village has a traditional market, where you can see the different crafts of the locals and an archaeological zone.

Together with jesro guide you will tour the archaeological site. Then we will take you to the main square, where you can buy handicrafts in its cobbled streets.

After these Inca remains, we will take you to Urubamba so you can enjoy a delicious Peruvian buffet lunch.

Ollantaytambo

Continuing with our tour, we will transfer you to the town of Ollantaytambo. It has narrow cobbled streets almost intact since the Inca era. This town in the Inca era was the administrative capital of the Inca Empire.

Together with our guide you will visit the archaeological site of Ollantaytambo. Here you can appreciate more of the technology that the Incas used in its construction.

After touring this imposing archaeological site we will go to the train station. Here you will board the train that will take you to the town of Aguas Calientes.

The train journey is a unique experience. You will be able to appreciate Andean communities, Andean farms and the entire landscape around them. You will also be traveling next to the Urubamba River.

When you arrive at the town of Aguas Calientes our staff will be waiting for you. After dropping you off at your accommodation you will have free time for you to explore the village. This town is famous for the hot springs it has. Considered thermomedicinal.

Later in the evening our guide will give you the necessary instructions for the next day. The most anticipated day.

Day 2Aguas Calientes - Machu Picchu - Cusco

Early in the morning the hotel staff will give you a box of snacks. Then we will transfer you to the bus station. Here you will board the bus that will take you to the citadel of Machu Picchu.

When you arrive at the entrance of the citadel you will verify your documents. After passing the control we will start our tour. Together with our guide we will tour the entire citadel. You will know more about this place and the function it fulfilled within the Inca Empire.

After touring the citadel you will have free time to explore the citadel on your own. We recommend walking to the Inti Punku which offers a breathtaking view of the entire citadel. If you have booked a hike to Machu Picchu or the Huayna Picchu Mountain, our guide will direct you to the entrance.

After enjoying this wonder we will return to Aguas Calientes. Board the bus back to the village. Upon arrival you will have free time so you can have lunch or learn more about this rustic village.

Later you will board the train that will take you back to Ollantaytambo. Here our private transport will be waiting for you to take you back to Cusco.
