Tour Details

Located in the province of Urubamba. It is located on top of a mountain. It is built by large and imposing stone blocks joined together. It presents religious, political and cultural centers.

This world wonder was discovered by Hiram Bingham in the year 1911. It is divided into two sectors: agricultural and urban. The agricultural sector has an extensive network of agricultural platforms. The urban sector consists of beautiful buildings such as the Temple of the Sun.

Machu Picchu is today a World Heritage Site and the Pride of Peru. In addition to being considered a world wonder.

You will also travel by train that offers stunning views of the Andean landscape. You will appreciate Andean communities and Andean farms that are irrigated by the amazing Urubamba River.

Day 1Cusco - Pisac - Ollantaytambo - Aguas Calientes

Our adventure starts very early in the morning. We will pick you up in our private transport from your accommodation in Cusco. We will take you through the Sacred Valley of the Incas to Ollantaytambo.

Here you will board a train that will take you to the town of Aguas Calientes. The train journey is a unique experience. You will be able to appreciate Andean communities, Andean farms and the entire landscape around them. You will also be traveling next to the Urubamba River.

When you arrive at the town of Aguas Calientes our staff will be waiting for you. After dropping you off at your accommodation you will have free time for you to explore the village. This town is famous for the hot springs it has. Considered thermomedicinal.

Later in the evening our guide will give you the necessary instructions for the next day. The most anticipated day.

Day 2Aguas Calientes - Machu Picchu - Cusco

Early in the morning the hotel staff will give you a box of snacks. Then we will transfer you to the bus station. Here you will board the bus that will take you to the citadel of Machu Picchu.

When you arrive at the entrance of the citadel you will verify your documents. After passing the control we will start our tour. Together with our guide we will tour the entire citadel. You will know more about this place and the function it fulfilled within the Inca Empire.

After touring the citadel you will have free time to explore the citadel on your own. We recommend walking to the Inti Punku which offers a breathtaking view of the entire citadel. If you have booked a hike to Machu Picchu or the Huayna Picchu Mountain, our guide will direct you to the entrance.

After enjoying this wonder we will return to Aguas Calientes. Board the bus back to the village. Upon arrival you will have free time so you can have lunch or learn more about this rustic village.

Later you will board the train that will take you back to Ollantaytambo. Here our private transport will be waiting for you to take you back to Cusco.
